Blue Rocks Boulder Field in Lenhartsville, Pennsylvania
Just outside of Lenhartsville, not far from Hawk Mountain Sanctuary , a cascading ribbon of grayish-blue rock flows for nearly a mile between the trees. Tuscarora quartzite is uncommon in Berks County, so geologists are still unsure as to how or why this boulder field exists here.
