The Mirror Ball on South Shore in Blackpool, England

The giant mirror ball on the promenade of Blackpool's South Shore is illuminated at night with a colour-changing light show. Having 46,000 mirrors, the 4.5-tonne ball opposite the Solaris Centre was removed by the council in July 2010 for refurbishment by art students.
